l' osteria e' salone

The translation for l' osteria e' salone is "the bar and lounge".  The 2015 Bucks County Designer House and Gardens was a Mediterranean Style Villa built in the late 20th century.  The custom bar and tile floor were existing.  Half of the room was sparse and uninviting.  A cinderblock covered window presented an additional challenge.  Rather than ignore the existing Mediterranean flair, we embraced it.  We added authentic elements to evoke the feeling of a European tavern - wrought iron, distressed wood, tooled leather and vintage bottles.  Guests visiting the space felt as if they were somewhere in France, Italy or Spain.
